Who is responsible

CyberTest.ca is operated by Yosef Rodin in Montreal, Quebec. He is the person responsible for the protection of personal information on this site. For anything privacy-related: info@cybertest.ca.

What I collect

When you take the free check, I collect: your answers to the questionnaire, your organization type, your language choice, and the resulting score. To send your results, I collect your email address. If you choose to leave your details for follow-up, I also collect the name, business name, and phone number you provide. For security and abuse prevention, the system records basic technical information such as your IP address.

What it's used for

Your information is used to generate your results, email them to you, and respond if you ask to be contacted. Aggregate, non-identifying patterns (for example, which gaps are most common) may be used to improve the check. Your information is never sold, and it is not shared with advertisers.

Marketing emails

You only receive occasional tips or offers if you tick the separate consent box. You can unsubscribe at any time, and your results email arrives either way.

Where it's stored and who processes it

Data is stored with our database provider (Supabase) and results emails are delivered through our email provider (Resend). These providers may store or process data on servers located outside Quebec and outside Canada.

How it's protected

The database is write-locked to the public: visitors can submit their own check, but no one outside the system can read stored records. Data is encrypted in transit, results emails are limited to one per completed check, and administrative access is restricted to the person responsible named above.

How long it's kept

Information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask for your information to be corrected or deleted at any time.

Your rights

You can ask what information I hold about you, ask for corrections, withdraw consent, or ask for deletion by writing to info@cybertest.ca. You'll get a response within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Trackers

This site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Only the technical storage needed to run the check is used.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.

This check is not a penetration test and nothing on this site is legal advice.
